I Met Her In Moonlight
Written by Antagony on 23 Jun 2017 16:31.
I met her in moonlight
Looking so darling,
Struck across Heaven
Dear fallen starling.
She makes my heartbeat
Tears clouds asunder,
Out of the skies
I feel her like thunder.
Rose up a phoenix
Burning like heather,
In and out of my arms
Ashes to feather.
Then we danced in dulcet
To a rhythm sunsetting,
Swept up the ballroom
All night unforgetting.
We drew in close
Her lips to mine,
I met her in moonlight
This goddess divine.
